Papa Loves You, Tiny Blue Book Review

Papa Loves You, Tiny Blue is about a daddy penguin and a baby penguin, Tiny Blue, who has tons and tons of questions as children often do.  The watercolor pictures illustrate the two penguins walking along the beach while Tiny Blue asks his questions.

This book reminds me of when my son was around one and a half years old and one of his classmates hijacked my mother, who was visiting my son that day.  He kept asking "Why?" questions.  He was persistent and continued to ask.  This is exactly who Tiny Blue is.  "Will I fly?"  "What are those?"  "Will you always keep me safe?"

This is a very visually appealing book that tells a very special story about a father's love (and patience) for his child.  I could look through this book many times and still see something new each time.  While this is not a board book, this book would be great to read to children of every age.  Its also a wonderful way to get dads to read to their children as most books come from a mother's perspective.
