If one ever needed a simple, lighthearted explanation of God’s love, this book is it. Explaining the magnitude of God’s love to a new believer, let alone a child, can be really difficult, but author Sarah Parker Rubio has done it.
When I read God’s Love is Like Sunshine, I was filled with a childlike understanding of God’s amazing love for me. If I still had a child at home, this book would be a nightly bedtime read so that they would learn to grasp what adults have such a hard time doing. Illustrator Dream Chen uses colorful pictures to visualize the author’s words.I love this book! I love the explanation. I think that every new believer should read this book and every child should have this book read to them often. Learning to grasp the breadth and depth of God’s love for his children can be a hard thing to do. Leave it to a child’s board book to explain it perfectly with ordinary things.
