Love, Clancy: Diary of a Good Dog by W. Bruce Cameron
I won a copy of this book and it arrived unannounced. To be honest, this wouldn't have been a book I picked up on my own. The story idea is a cute one. Clancy is a very good dog, who lives with his human, JayB.
This is as much a story told by Clancy about his canine friends and feline enemies as it is about JayB and his human friends and enemies. All-in-all, I really liked the animal characters but I found that the human participants were pretty annoying.
Many times in the book I found the conversations and goings on were ridiculous and I can't ever imagine them happening in real life.
The book was a very easy read and I believe I finished it in about 3 or 4 sit-downs but I kept thinking that I wasn't even interested in any other books from the author.
So, I can't really recommend this book. It just wasn't for me.
I received this book as a gift from the publisher for free in exchange for an honest review. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
